For 1st and 2nd year graduate students:

All graduate students are encouraged to apply for the following fellowships. We have a number of research projects and outreach programs suitable for these fellowship applications. Interested students are strongly encouraged to discuss their projects and fellowship applications with Prof. Geha well in advance of the deadlines.
 
Fulbright Scholar Program – for those who are interested in studying or conducting research abroad
Harriet Jenkins Pre-doctoral Fellowship Program – a NASA sponsored fellowship for women, minorities, and persons with disabilities participating in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) workforce
Yale Conference Travel Fund – Conference travel support from the Graduate Student Assembly (GSA) of Yale University.
Mellon Mays Predoctoral Research Grant – travel fund and scholarships from the SSRC-Mellon Mays Graduate Initiatives Programs
NSF East Asia and Pacific Fellowship – fully paid summer program, funding research abroad for grad students in any science. Possible destinations include: Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, & New Zealand (8-10 weeks)
